Hello, new visitor! Welcome to my website and thank you for your interest in learning more about me. I was born in Budapest, Hungary and when I was 10 my family moved to the United States, where I spent the next 30 years before relocating back to where it all began.
It was in the east coast American cities of Boston and Philadelphia where I learned and perfected my English. This makes my background unique since I speak both Hungarian and English at a native level. I hold a BA in Economics from Villanova University in Philadelphia, an MS in Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. My professional background can be viewed by clicking here.
In the past two years, I have taught English to over 40 native Hungarian speakers through effective, engaging, and interactive one-on-one online and in-person lessons. I am also available for Hungarian-to-English translation work, reviewing your written English as a copy editor, and will happily teach the notoriously difficult Hungarian (Magyar) language to those mad enough to be interested.
In my free time, I enjoy studying history, reading great literature, serving as website editor for The Skeptical Doctor, working on my tennis game, trying to improve at chess, following my favorite soccer club―Ferencváros, and planning my next adventure around Europe. Cheers.
